Great creatures posted since I was here last! Here's a quicky I did recently depicting the god Pan, lord of the wilderness (or my version anyhow)
jesus you just broke my face
Great creature/spirit design. Beautifully alien and intriguing.
Good god I've been absent from the blog for quite some time. Simon there's something about how you paint landscapesIE; rock, foliage, soil etc. that just gets me all hot and bothered lolI love this, very cool.. and yet again another beautiful painting overall.
Davi - Heh :D :DDigisaur - Nice, thanks!Mike - :) Cheers, Mike. Random fractally stuff like foliage and rock are my favourite to paint. Scibble a bit and bang, they're done!
Amazing! I love the primal but elegant design. I could see this in a Pan's Labyrinth type arty fantasy movie!
Thanks Vinod! I loved Pan's Labyrinth so that's a great compliment
this is so full of awesomereally dig the creepy designand I get the feeling that dude walking can't see himsweet
Dude, this is great. Love the palette. Really gloomy and atmospheric.
Joverine - you got it! Pan is supposed to move unseen over wilds and mountains and cause panic in people who cross his path (that's where the word "PANic" comes from) So this guy can't see Pan but I've a feeling that soon he'll feel his evil touch... bwahahahahaha!Greg - Thanks, happy you like the palette because first I wondered if it was a little too monochrome, then I worried it was too saturated. No pleasing me sometimes...
Interesting rendition of Pan. Excellent painting, as always! You'll have to teach me how to scribble sometime.:D
Gorgeous.I really love your colors and design~
Moai - Thanks for dropping by. Maybe one day I'll post a video of me scribbling so people can say, "Hey, he wasn't kidding, he just scribbles!" :)cassandra - thanks, nice of you to say
Yeah well it's sick! Great power, love to see him move with sound.
Great. Perfect scale feeling!
