Broadmore versus Dragon

I don't usually draw Dragons. I usually draw still life flower arrangements and fan art of gay sex porn between Half Life's Gordon Freeman and the Incredible Hulk.
But recently, for a lark, I drew this for a French Publication L'univers des Dragons Tome vol 2
It's published by www.danielmaghen.com

Woooooow. That is so goddamned great. Man oh man oh man. Hooray for syrup-thick doses of humility, I guess. Just bloody gorgeous. Great job!

Holy shit, another one of my heroes joined this blog. I've been a rabid fan of your work ever since your dinosaur article in Imagine FX, Mr. Broadmore. I'm glad you took the time off of your Half Life/Hulk fetishes to give us this fantastic image.

Damn Greg,
As soon as I saw this I knew it was yours. I've been pondering over your paleo-concept art for Skull Island ever since Peter Jackson's King Kong came out. The lighting, skin textures and anatomy are extremely believable. Love everything about it. Gots me a new desktop wallpaper for a while ;)

Just checked out the link to that book. I'm gonna have to see if I can pick that up. The preview pdf, the one image by Guillermo Gonzales is such an awesome action scene where the dragon snatched up the horse out from underneath the rocks.

Thanks fullahs.
It's a great blog and a fun thing to throw in on. I'm going to try and make time for more personal work over the next few months so I'll hopefully post semi-regular.
Congrats to everyone on here, there's some fantastic work

Great piece. I really like the design, lighting, and especially the textures. Oh, and the smoldering human corpse doesn't hurt either. I mean, honestly, wouldn't most pieces of artwork be greatly improved with the addition of a charred piece of humanity.
